„Natural Needs” is a dramedy about a young man Heiko, who wants to spend a romantic weekend with his girlfriend Sonja at a remote lake. With the arrival of an elderly couple problems start. Marcus Sehrwas was born in 1977 in Cologne. He studied at the University of Cologne. He did his studies in Political Sciences, English Literature, Philosophy, Theater, Film and TV. From 2004 to 2007 he had Film Studies in Film Directing at the IFS Iinternationale Filmschule Köln.
Seven-year-old Lily hasn’t yet realized that her parents’ divorce is not temporary. Torn between being daddy’s little girl and mommy’s pillar of strength Lily tries to make sense of her new life. The difference between the harsh reality she is living and what she understands of it becomes smaller as she matures before her time. Pola Zen was born in Mexico City in 1979. Pola studied directing at the Tel Aviv University Film and Television Department. Pola Zen has directed many short films and music videos. She was selected to participate in the Tel Aviv – Los Angeles Partnership Cinema Workshop throughout June, 2006 to further develop her new project: a feature film about the realationship between mothers and daughters in a changing Israel – which she plans to direct.
Mirek meets Wioletta who makes him be all confused. The story of a first love. Jan Wagner was born in 1975 in Germany. 1995–1997 he did his studies of film theory and psychology in Berlin. 1997–2000 he studied screenwriting at German Film and Television Academy Berlin. Since 2003 he is a student of the directing department at the Polish National Film, TV and Theatre School in Lodz, Poland.
At last son has succeed in life. During five years it is the first time he is coming to visit his mother with his new family. But... Maryna Gorbach was born in Kyiv, Ukraine in 1981. She graduated from Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and TV in 2006. Her first 35 mm short film „The Jar”(2004) won several short film awards on different international festivals. „The Debt” is her diploma film. Now she works on her feature debut at Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing in Warsaw, Poland.
Pilar doesn’t want to be alone, so she decides to go to a dating agency and she gets a blind date. What she doesn’t know is that her date has different plans and they have nothing to do with hers. Jose Manuel Carrasco studied in Odin Teatre Estudio Internacional. He starts his artistic career in the theatre as a director. He studies cinema direction in ECAM, in Madrid and films several short movies such as „El fabuloso destino de Rita” (2004), „Hotel Casanova” (2005), „Comedia anonima” (2006) and „Padam” – his first work in 35 mm.
Alicia is pregnant and wants to have the child. Her partner Mateusz, moved by a hidden reason, doesn’t agree with her life-changing decision. José Enrique Iglesias was born in Oviedo in 1972. Student at the Department of Philosophy of Oviedo’s University (1996–1999). Then he studied at the Department of Drama, Television and Film Direction at the National School of Poland (1999–2006). „In Between” the II Best Film and the Best Cinematography Awards at Lodzia po Wisle in Warsaw 2007.
Best friends Björn and Hampus move into a flat. Over a few days their friendship changes dramatically. Magnus Mork was born in 1978 in Oslo, Norway. Currently he lives in Oslo. He has BA of Media Arts from University of London, UK and BA in Film Directing from Göteborg University School of Film Directing, Sweden (www.film.gu.se). „Flatmates” is Magnus Mork’s graduation film from Göteborg University School of Film Directing. |
