The 9th edition of Estonian one and only animation festival "Animated
Dreams" will focus on the 50th anniversary of the Estonian stop-motion
film studio Nukufilm. To celebrate this jubilee, Nukufilm has prepared an exhibition
"Having Soul" which will be on show during the festival. Another
part of the jubilee festivities is the international colloquium "The Soul
of Voodoo" on stop-motion film. Many outstanding animators, film critics
and historians have accepted the invitation to participate and contribute their
vast knowledge on animation to the audience. And last but not least, the first
World Championships in Animation will be organised during the festival.
