The film engagement of the BMW Group
The BMW Group is setting new standards in the automobile sector. As a company that is active throughout the globe, BMW Group feels that it has a worldwide responsibility socially, politically, ecologically and culturally. For over 70 years, the Munich based company has been involved in the world of film, supporting both national and international film projects which embody the company’s values. The BMW Group is supporting the 11th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival as a meeting between East and West.

The BMW Group is partner of the 11th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. Providing long-term, sustained promotion for filmmakers is an important part of the engagement of the BMW Group in the area of film. The projects always stand for quality, innovation and the love of creating something truly successful.

Two years ago the first BMW Group Film Series was initiated within the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. Film projects which had already been supported by the BMW Group during production were presented as part of the multifaceted programme of the festival. As part of the BMW Group film programme we have been very proud of Sandra Hüller for winning the Jury Prize for the Best Actress for her role in “Requiem” by Hans- Christian Schmid, Germany.

In close collaboration with the festival directors, the BMW Group has now nominated films for the 2nd BMW Group Film Series.

Enjoy memorable days of film at the wonderful Black Nights Film Festival!
