Press conference of British composer, minimalist, pianist and music scientist Michael Nyman who gives two concerts in Tallinn. Musician who has cooperated with film directors like Peter Greenaway, Michael Winterbottom, Neil Jordan etc will perform in 29.11 in Kaarli church and in 30.11 at BNFF’s official opening event in the Russian Theatre.

The press conference introduces Korean delegation, as this year at BNFF there is focus on new South Korean film. The press can meet Je-yong Lee, the director of "Dasepo Naughty Girls" and Cho Sung-woo the composer of a stylish thriller "M" (directed by Lee Myung-se), who is also a member of official competition EurAsia jury. Programme coordinator Tiina Lokk will introduce other Korean films in BNFF programme.

TUESDAY, December 4 KINOMAJA

Introduction of the film programme BMW Group presents. For the third time BNFF audience may see films that have been produced with the support of the international car company, which has been connected with film industry for over 70 years. In 2005 BNFF in collaboration with BMW Group brought to the festival short films series "The Hire". Last year "Requiem" from BMW Group programme won the best actress prize (Sandra Hüller). This year the programme has 5 films: "Sweet Mud" (directed by Dror Shaul, Israel-Germany-Japan-France), "Hounds" (directed by Ann-Kristin Reyels, Germany), "That Special Summer" (directed by Nanna Huolman, Sweden-Finland), "Nevermore" (directed by Toke Constantin Hebbeln, Germany) and "Against the Grain – With a Kind of Poetry. Film Legend Bernhard Wicki" (directed by Elisabeth Wicki-Endriss, Germany). Present will be director Elisabeth Wicki-Endriss and BMW Group PR manager Joerg. E. Schweitzer.
